Hi Everyone !
There is one huge mistake that all the young domainers share.
Almost all of us hand registered some Hyphens, Trademarks, Poor Keywords Domains.
Because a lot of domainers telling me, that this is their first and biggest mistake, I want to share with you my first portfolio.
I have to say, when i review the portfolio I understand how much i learned. (its all about education)
Huge amount of Cybersquatting (Trademarks issues), Hyphens, Poor keywords, Typos.
If you are new to the domaining business, please take a look and learn, don’t do the same mistakes I did…
Great Weekend everyone !

No mistakes no Learn

Wow, Arbel those are some bad ones. I hope that’s all of that type. I’ve got many mistakes too but they’re more “emotional” investments rather than smart ones.
It takes a lot of research and a tempering of the zeal when you’re a newbie to avoid getting in over your head.
Keep up the good work!

Hi N-N !
Thank you for the comment.
They are nasty domains and this is exactly the reason i publish it, I hope people that entering the domain industry will see my post and not repeat my mistakes.
Cheers,
Arbel

If you’re new and you are cognizant of your inexperience, follow one maxim: Only .com. Sure you can make mistakes on .coms, but generally if you stick to them when you’re most prone to making mistakes as a newcomer you should be fine when you’ve become more experienced.
Oh yeah, staying away from trademarks should be a no brainer these days.

In the late 90′s I registered so many bad names because they sounded “cool”, something like “eInternetBiz”, “iFreeCommerce”, and many other bad others. I was lucky enough to get some good ones, maybe 10 out of 100 but I would love to have 1998/ 1999 over again with the knowledge I have today.
Thanks,Jim Holleran
