Nice news this morning – The logo for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Russia, contain a .RU domain name.
This is the first time ever that an Olympic logo is contain a domain name for the official website olympic games.
This is the annoncement from the offical site -
December 1th 2009 will always be remembered as an historic day in Russia and the wider Olympic Movement. It is the day that the new Sochi 2014 brand was launched; the day that heritage and traditions of the past connected with the hopes and aspirations of a new global generation.
